From the best grapes of our best vineyard parcel in the Castagna area with 70-year old vines, bornour Barbeta dÁsti Superiore Castagna.

Castagna at 350 meters above sealevel, represents one the last bastions of Monferrato overlooking the Langa and is a toponym (nameplace) already present in the land registry of 1758, identifying at the time one of the hills with the most quantity of vineyards in Calosso, with more than 70 hectares already present of vineyards. Produced only in the best vintages, in a very limited number of bottles, it is released on the market 4 years after the harvest.
